Upcoming Shows
For those of you willing to suffer amateur performances to watch friends perform, I have three shows coming up. You may be able to watch the Passim shows online via ConcertWindow, if Passim decides to stream them.
Saturday, May 28th, 12:00-12:30 pm, at Club Passim: The Club Passim Blues Ensemble (incluging me) will be opening the Saturday session of the spring Campfire. We’re planning to play 4 songs; I’ll be singing lead on 2 of them. Campfire is a 4 day fundraiser with many, many performers each day. $10 gets you a one day pass; $30 gets a weekend pass. http://bit.ly/campfire-05-11
Sunday, June 5th, 4:30 pm, at Club Passim: The Passim School of Music Spring Recital. I’ll be playing with both the Blues Ensemble (2 songs) and the Dobro class (1 song). Admission is $5 (or free for Passim members).
Saturday, Jun 11th, 7:00 pm, at Belmont LDS Chapel: Spring Sing. The Spring Sing is a tradition of the Arlington congregation—an evening of fun, secular music. The theme this year is “I Got Rhythm,” and the show will feature hits from the 20s and 30s. As in the past, I’ll be conducting a couple choral numbers, singing with the choir, and playing in the bluegrass group. (The bluegrass group plays every year, regardless of the supposed theme.) Free.
Also, the girls have a dance recital this Sunday. I won’t post details here, but if you’re local and want to come, I can give you the details.
